Fundraising ideas

Organize a walk-to-school day and get people to sponsor you as you walk.
Host an international food tasting lunch or evening and charge admission.
Host an international coffee tasting featuring coffees from developing countries (most coffees are grown in developing countries like Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, Kenya, etc.) and charge an admission price.
If you wear uniforms to school, ask if your school would allow students to pay $5 for a non-uniform day with all proceeds going to benefit Walk with the Poor/CFCA.
Enter a local 5k race (or other sporting event) and get sponsors.
Host an art exhibit, charge an admission price and/or sell the art and donate the profits.
Get donations from local businesses and have an auction or a silent auction.
Have a bake sale at school, church, etc.
Have a pancake breakfast (or muffin breakfast, biscuits and bagels, etc.) before school or church.
Host a pizza party over lunch and charge extra for the students you’re fundraising for.
Sell cookies, roses, balloon bouquets, etc. for a holiday (like Valentine’s day) and deliver them to the recipients.
Host a basketball tournament and charge an entry fee. You could do this with any sport – tennis, golf, volleyball, dodge ball, etc.
Host a themed party – beach party, Cinco de Mayo, 50s party, costume party – and charge admission.
Make a cookbook using your friends’ recipes and sell them.
Have a car wash.
Organize a chili cookoff with either entry fees or ticket sales to the event. You could also do this with pies, desserts, soups, breads, a dad and daughter cookoff – anything.
Make homemade Christmas cards (or gifts) and sell them.
Have a Christmas gift wrapping booth at your church, school, local shopping mall, etc.
Have a Christmas wish tree at your church, school, parent’s office, etc.
Offer to make final exam study kits (with snacks, a stress reliever ball, fun pens and pencils, etc.) for college students or high schoolers (their parents or churches would purchase them from you to send to them).
Make a huge traveling sign, or item (like a mannequin, etc.) that people can pay money to have delivered to someone’s yard.
Have a garage sale – or organize a garage sale for your church youth group, etc.
Organize a concert with local bands.
Host a babysitting night so couples can go out on a date.
Host a used book sale (and gather books from your family and friends to sell).
