Melvin's story

Melvin began studying in high school in 2006 to become a teacher but was forced to discontinue his studies in 2007 due to financial hardships in his family. He is back in high school now studying business administration, a three year program in an institute near his home. Melvin’s favorite subject is economics. His dream is to complete his education and graduate. Melvin likes to drum and play soccer in his free time. He also attends church. Melvin lives with his mother. He has three older sisters but they have all formed their own homes. Melvin’s mother works as a maid and laundress in other people’s homes to support the family.
