Valluru's story
*Anticipated date of graduation: April 2012
Valluru wants to become a software engineer when he graduates from college. He is especially interested in science and math. Valluru plays volleyball and draws in his spare time. He also reads books and he likes to participate in community activities. Valluru comes from a large family of six children. Two of his siblings had to discontinue their studies because the family could not afford it. Both of Valluru’s parents wash clothes to support the family. They have steady work but they don’t earn enough to provide for the basic needs of the family and the children’s education.
