Payment options
If you are paying monthly or already have some money to send:
- Select the student you want to help.
- Give us your name (or the group's name), address and contact information.
- Make your first payment.
- We'll send you a packet of information about the student you select and instructions about how to start writing to your new friend.
- We'll let your student know they have a sponsor.
- We'll also send you a receipt and a way for you to send your next contribution, if you haven't raised all of the money your student needs yet.
If you plan to fundraise before sending your money:
- Talk to your group and figure out what amount you think you can fundraise.
- Select the student you want to help.
- Give us the group's name and the contact person's name, address and contact information.
- We'll send the contact person a packet of information about the student you select and a form to send in with your first contribution. Remember, you have 30 days to send in your first contribution, and we only need $30 to get the sponsorship started.
- As soon as we receive your first contribution, we'll let your student know they have a sponsor and we'll send you information about how to write your new friend.
- We'll also send you a receipt and a way to make your next contribution.
There are three ways you can submit money to support your student:
- If you would like to send a check, please combine all of the money raised at one time and send one check to:
CFCA
P.O. Box 805105
Kansas City, MO 64180-5105
note: Make sure to use the coupon we send you or put your CFCA ID in the memo line so we know that it's for your student!
- You can contribute online at any time by credit card or bank withdrawal.
- Or, you can set up to have your sponsorship paid automatically by credit card or automatic bank transfer, which basically means that we're authorized to withdraw $30 from your credit card or bank account every month. That way, you never forget to send in the support for your friend.
Please NEVER send us cash
It can be easily stolen in the mail which would be heartbreaking for you, and for us.
If you're under 18, make sure you have the permission of your parent, guardian or group leader.
